Holy Cross Catholic Elementary School

Holy Cross Catholic Elementary School is located in the City of Mississauga. The student population, approximately 570 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8, comes from a wide range of social and ethnic backgrounds reflecting the ever-increasing diversity of cultures found within Mississauga. The community consists of a mixture of single and semi-detached family dwellings, townhouses and apartment buildings. It is situated in the North East corner of Mississauga, in the locale of Malton, near Pearson International Airport.

Holy Cross is a caring school community environment that stresses tolerance and acceptance of others, commitment to our Catholic faith and high academic standards. We provide a safe and comfortable learning environment where models of Gospel values and Catholic doctrines, teachings and beliefs are an integral part of the daily life of our school. All activities at Holy Cross — academic and pastoral work, extracurricular and intracurricular, prayer and worship, administration and management — help to prepare our, lives as Catholics in the community. Our students come to us with a variety of strengths and needs, with their Catholic faith as the common bond. Our prayer life, liturgical celebrations, the sacraments, and our faith and values system form the foundation of our school program.
