Field Trips in 2010

At Holy Name of Mary, drama plays an important role in the study of English.  Students in grades 9 through 12 perform scenes from Shakespeare and other literary works.  As well, the HNM English Department makes annual trips to see live theatre in venues such as Toronto, Stratford, and Niagara-on-the-Lake.


This year our students will be travelling to Toronto to see three different productions. 

The  Grade 9s will attend a performance of  Twelfth Night on March 10th; the Grade 10s will attend Romeo and Juliet on May 4th; and the Grade 11s will attend Macbeth on April 28th.
