The strength of the Iona faith community comes from the students who are willing to get involved and take risks to promote faith and spirituality.  When we asked for student volunteers this past Fall, 39 students from all grade levels signed up.  These spiritual leaders give of themselves in a variety of ways:  they share, plan and minister at school masses and prayer services, volunteer at the Scott Mission, go on street patrols, attend Salesian leadership retreats and assist on other retreats. 

Mr Gasparini, Iona's chaplaincy leader, and Ms Coraci, the staff advisor, are very pleased and excited to work with so many wonderful and enthusiastic student leaders here at Iona.  The presence of Jesus is alive and vibrant and clearly speaks through these young people who make Faith In Flight an integral aspect of our Catholic community.
