Prayer of St Columba

The path I walk , Christ walks it

May the land in which I am be without sorrow

May the Trinity protect me where ever I go

Father , Son and Holy Spirit

May I arrive at every place I set out for

May I return home safely

May the way in which I spend be without loss

May every path before me be smooth

And may all welcome me

A truly good journey is the one

That the Lord shows us the path
