Welcome to St. John the Baptist's School Website!

Registration for our Full Day Kindergarten Program for 4 and 5 year olds opens Monday, February 6th at 7:00 PM and closes Friday, February 10th at 3:00 PM.  In the event that the number of registrations exceeds the number of available spaces, only those applications received by 3:00 PM on February 10th will be accepted.  At this time, we are only accepting applications from families who reside within our school boundaries.

Applications from families who reside within the school boundaries submitted after 3:00 PM on February 10th will be placed on a waitlist.

Letters of interest from families residing outside our school boundaries (flex boundary requests) will be accepted beginning February 17th, 2012.  Interested families must apply to their home school where they can pick up a flex boundary form.  If there are any spots available, there will be a lottery on June 14th to compile a waitlist only.  Please note, there will be very few flex-boundary spots, if at all.  No flex-boundary spots will be allocated until August 31st, 2012 at the earliest.

"Preparing the Way"

We believe that education is a life-long process involving physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual development.  To this end we will strive to promote the full development of children in the image of Christ.

We believe that each member of the St. John the Baptist School Community is unique and special and has a positive contribution to make to society.

We aspire to be living examples of Christ's message of love, serving as role models in the Christian formation of all members of the Community.

We endeavour to "touch the hearts and minds of those with whom we work," and in co-operation with our parents, and our parish priests, we will assist children in their own personal development of faith and appreciation and understanding of the Gospel values. Together, we will provide a friendly and caring environment that inspires academic excellence, fosters self-esteem, and promotes respect for others.
