The 2011 edition of the Blessed John XXIII Track and Field team enjoyed a successful season. After qualifying members for the team through our annual school tryouts, the coaches trained our team of athletes to prepare for the annual Mississauga South Track Meet at St. Marcellinus High School. Though all our members did well and competed hard, three athletes did so well that they placed in the top 3, qualifying them for the Board Meet. Brandon finished 2nd in shot put, Aylin finished 2nd in long jump and Romeo finished 3rd in the 400 metres. Congratulations to all our athletes on an enjoyable season. Special thanks to Mrs. Ribeiro & Mrs. Gremmen who helped with the school tryout.
