What's Up, Stand UP!

On November 1, 2011 the Family Channel hosted a Stand UP! anti-bullying rally at Blessed John XXIII School.  Celebrities from Family Channel's What's Up Warthogs,  Ed Witzke and Ana Golja, along with singer, Tyler Medeiros, shared stories and celebrated ways to stand up to bullying.  Medeiros sang three songs including What's Up Stand Up, his latest song about standing up to bullying. Clips from this rally will air on the Family Channel November 14th, 2011 as part of the Family Channel's What's Up Stand UP! anti-bullying campaign.  Students Cassidy and Channel won the Family Channel's essay writing contest when they wrote about the anti-bullying programs at Blessed John XXIII.  As a result, our school was one of four schools across Canada to experience this exciting rally.
