The St. Joseph Secondary School Book Club

  First meeting:

  • Please see Mr. Lepage for details.
  • See below for the first book selected for discussion.

"You know you've read a good book when you turn the last page and feel a little as if you have lost a friend." -- Paul Sweeney

The St. Joseph Secondary Book Club is about to start its twelfth year.  Students have always been impressed with the array of unique and compelling stories they have read.  Discussions about these wonderful tales are always dynamic, thought-provoking and a pleasure to be a part of.

Join the Book Club and enjoy great food and door prizes.  Meet interesting and intelligent people and enter new and exciting worlds where heroes, villains, scapegoats, monsters and characters who inspire are waiting to meet you.

The Book Club is open to anyone who likes to enter these fantastical, wonderful, magical and extraordinary worlds and to meet with friends to discuss the triumphs of the human spirit.  Come and see Mr. Lepage in the library anytime.  Click here for the application form.

  This year's stories:

Bloodletting & Miraculous cures by Vincent Lamb will be the first book.

See a videoblog of Vincent Lamb talking about his book here.
