Guidance Counsellors visited feeder schools in November to provide information on course selection and the Leger community.

"Meet your Counsellor" visits were completed October 5, 6, 7th. If you were absent on the day that your class came to Guidance, please make an appointment with your counsellor to pick up your 'Passport' in order to record your community service hours.
Classroom presentations to introduce students to “My Blueprint” will take place in semester 2. This offers an opportunity to update their Annual Education Plan.
Grade 10 is a pivotal year for students to make decisions about their course choices in grade 11 which will further prepare them for post-secondary options and career choices. An evening to explore the four Pathway’s (College, University, Apprenticeship and Workplace) and how students can prepare for their future. Presentation will be held in the Library on November 17th at 7:00pm.
Counsellors visited grade 10 classrooms the week of December 12.
Counsellors met with grade 10 students to review their Credit Counselling summaries on December 12th and 13th. If you missed the opportunity, please make an appointment to see your counsellor.

Counsellors visited grade 12 classrooms during the week of October 24.
Counsellors met with Grade 12 student on December 14th to review courses and needs to graduate. Any students who yet to pick up their graduation forms, please see you counsellor.
