St. Luke History
PRAYER TO ST. LUKE
Lord God,
You blessed St. Luke with many gifts
and graces as missionary, physician,
laborer, evangelist, author and advocate
to all he served.
As the divine physician, St. Luke
dedicated himself to the service of the
weak and the ill.
As a converted missionary, St. Luke saw
the need for spiritual healing.
As an informed evangelist, St. Luke used
the good News to bring the message of
salvation to those without hope.
Through his faithful example,
May we learn to express our devotion
and love of Jesus.
May his Gospel stories be a constant
source of inspiration to us.
This we ask in Jesus’ name
