Christians In Action

At St. Marcellinus, Christians in Action hope to spread the word of God as well as bring everyone closer together. We hold many enjoyable, Christian related events to raise money for various charities.  The annual Refugee Dinner and the Faith Fast have proven to be tremendous successes.

Our highly inclusive group consists of dedicated high school students who are willing to sacrifice their own time in order to make a difference. New members are welcome as extra helping hands bring us closer to achieving our great goals.  School trips to homeless shelters and old age homes necessitate members to be accepting and generous, and provide experiences that will never be forgotten.

Popcorn for Poverty

Popcorn for Poverty is an example of an initiative that is organized and implemented by Christians in Action.  These students sell popcorn and the proceeds are used to sponsor a child through the Chalice program. 

Christian lives in Cameroon and sponsorship will enable him to continue his education and provide him with educational materials, proper nutrition, medical care and other basic necessities.
