Volunteering

Since many students require completion of their Community Service Hours, the library provides several opportunties for volunteering.

  • Student volunteer who assists with various tasks in the library.  Complete and submit volunteer application available at front desk.  (Only a few students are taken each semester for this job.)
  • T.A.G.  (Teen Advisory Group)  Teens meet regularly with the Mississauga Library staff to develop strategies that help out the school and community.  Any student can apply; applications are available at the front desk.
  • Book Reviewer.  If you love to read and write, this is the job for you.  Each participant is asked to read and review a novel of their choice per month.  Each book review equals 5 hours of Community Service hours.  Reviews are posted on our web page in the Teen Lounge Area.
