How to use the Common Course Calendar..

 

The Dufferin Peel Catholic District School Board has moved to a web based Common Course Calendar which is available @ www.dpcdsb.org/martn/ for the academic year 09/10.  Please follow the steps listed below for quick access to our calendar.  Students should visit this site to get course descriptions and pre-requisites.  Students will record their course selections on their yellow course selection form and return the form along with the $60.00 activity fee by January 19, 2009 to their home room teacher.  Students should see their Guidance Counsellor if they require any help with course selection.

 

  1. Visit www.dpcdsb.org/martn/
  2. Click on Guidance tab
  3. Click on  Course Selection 2009/2010 in left hand bar
  4. Click on course(blue) and description and prerequisite will appear
  5. If the course appears in grey scale go to left hand bar and click on focus courses and then click on 2009/2010 academic year(purple) for descriptions and prerequisites.

E.S.L. STUDENTS

 

A maximum of 3 credits in English as a second language (ESL) or English literacy development (ELD) may be counted towards the 4 compulsory credits in English, but the fourth must be a credit earned for a grade 12 compulsory English course.       (ENG 4E1, ENG 4C1, ENG 4U1)

 

 

 

CO-OP STUDENTS

 

A maximum of 2 credits in cooperative education can count as compulsory credits.
