Volunteering

 

St. Martin Secondary School encourages active volunteer work for both the in-school community and the local civic community.

 

Eligible Activities are ones which:

 

·          Are of benefit to the community as a whole

·          Support a not-for-profit agency, institution or foundation that conforms to the ethical standards of DPCDSB and the Ministry of Education

·          Promote tutoring, mentoring, coaching and charity work

·          Support ethical Christian work of a global nature

·          Promote positive environmental awareness

·          Support our Catholic faith, clubs, arts, cultural associations

 

All secondary school students must complete a minimum of 40 hours of volunteer community involvement as one of the requirements for the Ontario Secondary School Diploma.  Click Community Hours Service Form for verification of those hours.  Listed below are community agencies looking for student volunteers.
