Multicultural, Settlement & Education Partnership (MSEP)

Newcomer families and students face great challenges in settling in a new country.  To help them, settlement services are available at St. Martin's through our School Settlement Worker.

The MESP School Settlement Worker can help in many ways such as:

·         provide information about the school system and community resources

·         organize workshops for parent and students about school and community resources

·         as part of a multilingual team, arrange for newcomer support in the home language

·         act as a link between school staff, newcomer parents and students, helping each to understand cultural differences and expectations of the education system.

MSEP services are available to all Peel Region Schools.  Call the main office to contact our School Settlement Worker.
