This school year, the OSSLT (Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test) will be written across the province by all Grade 10 students on March 31, 2011.

To help prepare our students for this mandatory testing, St. Martin Secondary will be offering after school Literacy Workshops. The Fall Workshop will be held on the following dates:      

Session 1: Nov. 15 – Nov. 18        2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

                       Nov. 22 - Nov. 25         2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Session 2:  Mar. 7 - Mar. 10          2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

                        Mar. 21 - Mar. 23       2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

All parents of Grade 10 students will be receiving an information letter and registration form in early November.

It is highly recommended that concerned parents ensure that their son/daughter enrolls in at least one of the workshops offered. Past students who took the workshop all benefited highly from the practice activities provided.
