Truancy |
- Truancy is an illegitimate absence for a whole day.
- Truancy will be dealt with by the office once it is established that the absence was illegitimate.
- Prior to office referral place check with the Attendance Office or call home to verify that the student should have been in school.
- All contact with home is to be recorded on the Student Profile Card.

Frequent Absence |
- Teacher will contact home upon the 5th absence within an 8 week period.
- All contact with home is to be record on the Student Profile Card.
- If this trend persists send the student with his/her Student Profile Card to the appropriate V.P.

|
Uniform |
- Students who are out of uniform (but can get into full uniform) will be allowed to by the subject teacher.
- Repeated offenses are to be dealt with as behavioural issues.
- Students who cannot get into full uniform are to be sent with their Student Profile Card to the appropriate V.P.

Electronic Devices |
- Electronic devices of any kind are prohibited in the school building.
- First offense will result in the confiscation of the device by a teacher or V.P. All devices confiscated by staff are to be given to a V.P.
- Confiscated electronic devices shall ONLY BE RETURNED TO A PARENT/GUARDIAN.
- Subsequent offences will result in a suspension.
Note: Student are obliged to hand over an electronic device when a teacher requests. Failure to do so is seen as oppositional. |
