SHSM Requirements

In order to complete the SHSM program, you must complete all the following components during your Grade 11 and 12 school years.

• 4 major courses || two in Grade 11 and two in Grade 12
• 1 'OTHER' course || done in either Grade 11 or 12
• 1 Grade 12 English || either ENG4E, ENG4C or ENG4U
• 1 Grade 11 Math || either MBF3C, MCF3M, MCR3U or MEL3E
• 2-credit Co-Op placement || done is a sport related field
• 7 Certifications || four are mandatory, three are optional
• Reach Ahead Opportunities || minimum of one each year
• Experiential Learning Activities || minimum of one each year
