St. Matthew School General Information

School Hours:   8:50 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.

Lunch Hour: 11:50 a.m. to 12:50p.m.

Attendance: 

Absences- Please telephone the school and inform us of your child(ren)'s absence at the number below. Our answering service is available 24 hours a day, and messages are picked up regularly.  When leaving a message please provide your child(ren)'s name(s), grade(s) and the name of their teacher(s).

Lates- Students, who are late, must first report to the Office and receive a late slip before proceeding to class. This applies in the morning, and, should the student leave the school, at lunch.

Lunch Routines:

Students are expected to consume all food and beverages in their classroom seats and proceed directly outside in an orderly manner.  Facilities must be left clean and tidy. 

Students who regularly eat lunch at school will not be allowed to leave unless picked up by a parent or supervising adult (with written parental permission).  Students going out for lunch must sign in and out at the office.

Kiss & Ride:

Parents/ guardians are requested to utilize the Kiss & Ride lane when they are dropping off students in the morning.  Do not leave vehicles unattended in the Kiss & Ride lane.  Violations may result in tickets, which will be issued by the Parking Control Authority.  Students are expected to exit their vehicle when they have reached the top of the Kiss & Ride lane.
