Parent volunteers are an important part of a busy school community. Do you have some time to spare? Please consider volunteering and leave your name at the office. Volunteers are required to have an up-to-date police check – forms went home with the first newsletter, or you can ask at the office about forms for this.
Many of our activities and events occur and are successful because of parent support. We encourage your involvement in our school as a volunteer. It is our policy that parents do not volunteer in their own child's classroom. We request that volunteer share their skills and expertise in other areas. This encourages your child's independent skills, while still demonstrating your interest in their school and learning.
We have had many volunteers help us - with reading programs, in the office, in the kindergarten rooms, and so many other ways. We thank you for sharing your time and talents with us; you help make Father Francis McSpiritt School a huge success.
