The Student Council for the 2011 - 2012 school year has been formed. Different initiatives will be held throughout the school year. Check back to this page for upcoming events.
Events:
- Collection of Pop Tabs: We are collecting pop-tabs so that they can be used to make wheelchairs. Please donate to help make a difference!
- Thank you to all students, parents/guardians, and staff who donated canned goods and non-perishable food items for "Cram the Cruiser". We raised over 800 items! Way to go McSpiritt!!
- Mats for Haiti: The school council in conjunction with the student council are continuing "Mats for Haiti" as a social justice initiative throughout the school year. We are asking that you save the outside of your coloured milk bags and send them to school with your child and they will then be delivered to where volunteers will crochet them into sanitary mats for those in need.
