The Catholic School Council shall promote the vision, values and sacramental life of the Catholic practices of the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board. The Council shall promote, support and maintain a positive school environment for all students and staff; facilitate the active and meaningful participation of the parents/guardians, and all members of the St. Nicholas School Community; and, provide staff, parents, and students with an accountable system to which they can voice their concerns, comments and suggestions to support student learning and the building of a vibrant, caring, faith community.
The School Council's primary means of fulfilling its mission statement is by making recommendations in accordance with Regulation 612/00 to the Principal of the school and the Board that established the School Council.
