THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE

October 1 - 9, 2012

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect with family and friends and give thanks for all of God’s blessings.  It is also a time when we can share with others in our community.  This year St. Nicholas School, in support of Caledon Community Services, will be embracing a Thanksgiving Food Drive starting Monday, October 1, 2012 to Tuesday, October 9, 2012.  All items will be donated to Caledon Community Services along with needy families in our school.

A list of non-perishable Items that can be donated can be found below:

a)      Canned food items such as soups, fruit, vegetables, juices, pasta sauces
b)      Cereal both hot and cold, biscuits, crackers, cookies, cake mixes, pancake mixes etc.
c)      Kraft dinners and all types of pasta.
d)      Glass items such as pickles, sauces, jams, relishes, and salad dressings
e)      Toiletry items such as hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, hair shampoos etc.

Your donations will go a long way in providing a meal for others this thanksgiving.

Thank you and God Bless

2 Corinthians 9.8-10.3
And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work.  As it is written,‘He scatters abroard, he gives to the poor; his righteousness endures for ever.
