We Have New Contact Information Effective Friday, August 19th, 2011, Student Transportation of Peel Region will have new contact information for outside callers. This contact information will be posted on our website as well. The changes that we have made will offer the General Public more options to choose from including more information on our websites. www.stopr.ca and businfo.stopr.ca The following number is now available:   Parent/Student/General Public Inquiries 905-890-6000 or 1-800-668-1140     BUSSING DELAYS AND CANCELLATIONS In an effort to further improve communications with schools regarding transportation, information regarding delays and cancellations will now be posted directly on GeoQuery.  This cuts several steps from the previous process which involved phone calls from the operator to STOPR and from STOPR to the schools and this will result in information delivered to schools and parents on a more timely and accurate basis.  To get to this information, go to www.stopr.ca and select Delayed Buses or from the GeoQuery home page, select Delays and Cancellations.  It is important that schools check this information everyday in both the morning and afternoon.  STOPR will contact schools to advise of late buses for the month of September only.  This process will assist schools in becoming familiar with the website and process.  Starting Oct. 1st, schools will look up delays on their own and STOPR will no longer be contacting the school.  Schools will continue to receive a telephone call directly when there is an accident.  Please note that parents will also have access to the information regarding late buses.
