TRANSPORTATION POLICY
Transportation is provided for students who reside more than the following distance by road, path, or walkway from the school:
Kindergarten - Gr. 1 = 1.0 km
EMPTY SEAT POLICY
This policy is coordinated and administered by the school. Applications should be made to the Principal/Vice-Principal who at his/her discretion will approve applications for transportation effective the middle of October. Empty seat riders must use an existing stop location; no new stops will be added to the run. Priority will be granted according to the youngest and furthest applicants.
All students riding the school bus will be required to carry their bus pass with them at all times and follow all bus safety rules.
Transportation Cancellation due to Weather Conditions
Our school board is the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board.
If you drive your child to school on the day the transportation is cancelled, it is then your responsibility to pick your child up at the end of the day. When transportation services are cancelled, the school remains open and it is the responsibility of the parent to determine whether or not it is safe for a student to walk to and from school.
