School Busing
In order for students in grades 1 - 4 to ride the bus, they must reside at least 1.6 km from the school. Kindergarten students must reside at least 1 km for this service.
Please note the "Empty Seat" Policy is not effective until the end of October.
Kiss and Ride Program
This program is to assist parents/guardians to drop off and pick up their children in a designated lane of traffic at the front of the school. Please do not block the traffic lane closest to the front of the school as this is restricted for the use of school buses. We ask that parents driving their children to and from school, use the centre lane that is designated Kiss and Ride Lane. There will be a staff member on duty at the end of this lane to guide your child to and from the sidewalk at the front of the school. We ask that all parent drivers use the Kiss and Ride Lane.
For the safety of all concerned, please do not park in the school parking lot during school arrival and dismissal times. Your cooperation in helping us to make our school safe for everyone is greatly appreciated.
Bus Safety
Please ensure that your child knows the bus he/she is supposed to ride. For their own safety, children are expected to obey the following rules:

Do not stand on the road while waiting for the bus.

Enter the bus in a single line without pushing or shoving.

Remain seated while the bus is moving.

Talk quietly.

Do not eat or drink on the bus.

Obey the bus driver and the bus patroller at all times.

Keep head and arms inside the window.

Wait for the driver’s signal and then cross the street in front of the bus.
