The Friends of Lake Wabukayne Stewardship groups mandate is to conserve the natural area, educate residents about how to enjoy the lake responsibly, and boost the community spirit of South Meadowvale.  A citizen committe has been formed and has meet for the past year to put together an action plan for the conservation of  Lake Wabukayne and is now asking the community to come out, view the plans and sign up to be involved.

The annual community meeting will be held on Monday, January 17th, 2011 at 7 PM at the Meadowvale Christian Reformed Church at 2630 Inlake Court.
