Students Reflect on the Beatitudes

1. Blessed are the poor in spirit, theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
 

2. Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth.

3. Blessed are those who mourn; they shall be comforted.
 

4. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for what is right; they shall be satisfied.

5. Blessed are the merciful; they will have mercy shown to them.
 

6. Blessed are the pure in heart; they shall see God.

7. Blessed are the peacemakers; they shall be called the children of God
 

8. Blessed are those who are persecuted in the cause of right; theirs is the kingdom of God.
