CANADIAN BLOOD SERVICES

Students at St. Paul’s are expected to perform a 40 hour commitment to voluntary service, outlined in the Christian Community Passport to the World of Service, to complete their requirements for their secondary School Diploma. In an effort to add to the many options that are available to students in that document, St. Paul’s is offering, to eligible students, an opportunity to earn twenty-five hours of that total through four blood donations to the Canadian Blood Services Program. The eligibility requirements are included in this package and they will not be applicable for all students. This is one option among many for students to earn an equivalent of twenty five hours of voluntary service. Students who wish to take advantage of this option are asked to return this sheet signed by their Parent/Guardian, to give consent, and release St. Paul from any liability in the blood donation process.
