Philip Pocock Athletics Mission Statement

The mission of Philip Pocock Athletics is to create a dynamic environment that promotes competitiveness, spirituality, teamwork and self-discipline. Philip Pocock is committed to the philosophy that academic excellence and athletic excellence are mutually compatible.  We strive to provide a quality experience for all student-athletes in the Roman Catholic tradition. We are committed to building character, developing responsibility, and promoting sportsmanship, which will become life-long traits.

Philip Pocock’s commitment to interscholastic athletics has allowed thousands of student-athletes to benefit from the lessons that athletic competition offers. Representing Philip Pocock by wearing the black and gold is a privilege earned through hard work, discipline and determination. Philip Pocock Catholic Secondary School believes that athletics are an integral part of the school’s mission to educate the mind, body and soul of each student and contribute to the educational experience of the entire school community.
