“...be filled with the Spirit.”
Ephesians 5:18
Mission Statement
As a Catholic school ‘with spirit’, our mission is to be a community of faith, hope, and love in which all students can pursue excellence in mind, body, and soul.
What is Chaplaincy?
God is calling each and every student to build a life-long relationship with Him. Building such a relationship is not always easy, especially when high school students are often surrounded by distractions, doubts, and confusing messages. The Pocock Chaplaincy Team is a group of staff and students, coordinated by a full-time Chaplain, which offers guidance and support to members of the school community as they grow in faith.
What does Chaplaincy do?
The Chaplaincy Team promotes faith development in a variety of ways across a wide spectrum of ministries. We have prayer meetings, scripture reflections, school-wide liturgies, religion retreats, social justice work, and special events. For a detailed list of these various ministries, follow the links in the menu bar at the left of this screen.
How can I get involved?
Students are welcome to join the ‘Chaplaincy Crew’ and help out in one or more of the dynamic ministries taking place throughout the school. Please talk to the Chaplain for more information.
