Pocock Art

The students at Philip Pocock Catholic Secondary School express themselves in many different ways. Some focus on math, others science, but in this case these students express themselves through art. Each and every one of these students has a different artistic view.

At Philip Pocock we give every student a chance to show the whole school their artistic ability. We have many talented students and their works of art can be seen in a display case found in the cafeteria. We change the pieces quite often so all the students have a chance to shine.

Pope John Paul the II was an amazing person who changed the world in many ways. We were all very sad when he passed away. The following shows two girls who are expressing their gratitude to Pope John Paul II by painting his picture on the wall of Philip Pocock. They are expressing both their faith and their talent by this picture and showing the impact that he made on our lives. We miss him and we are truly grateful for everything he did.

Here are some other paintings that were inspired by our Catholic faith.

These are some other works of art that can be seen on the walls all throughout our school.

We encourage all students to express themselves in the way they feel most comfortable. We are truly grateful for the many artists we have at our school. Keep it up.
