All About Us

  We are located in central Mississauga close to Square One. Our school population is presently around 200 students with about 15 staff members. Our current principal is Mr. D. McKnight.

Our school opened its doors in the fall of  1985. In the spring of 1986,  the official blessing took place in the gymnasium. Mayor Hazel McCallion honoured us with her presence at the opening ceremony. 

Our founding principal,  Mr. L. Barreca wanted to  create a peaceful atmosphere where each and every child could learn and grow. Thus the name `A House of Peace' was created and continues to this day.

In June of 2006, we celebrated the twentieth anniversary of the school with a mass at  Sts. Peter and Paul Church. Many former staff and students were in attendance and enjoyed a social gathering at the school . Mayor Hazel McCallion once again joined us. The 2010-2011 school year represents the 25th year of education at Sts. Peter and Paul School
