Ms. Frayne's Grade 8 Class
The first few months have been very busy in grade eight at St. Raphael. We participated in volleyball and softball. We were in-charge of the Thanksgiving assembly at which we performed the song Awesome God. We also organized a canned food drive and enjoyed our own personal Thanksgiving dinner. Our next musical number was a lively version of Hail Holy Queen. We also performed and hosted the French Café. Next is the Remembrance Day assembly which will include our tribute to the Highway of Heroes. The intermediate classes are donating until Christmas, coins for Gifts of Hope to purchase presents for the less fortunate in other countries. We have created Power Point presentations, studied for a big geography test, written numerous stories, studied Edgar Allan Poe’s works at Hallowe’en. We have started the Year Book and discussion about Confirmation. This year is a busy one for us.
