VARSITY GIRLS FEILD HOCKEY
Best wishes and compliments to ALL the members of this years varsity Girls Field Hockey Team … the ladies represented our region at the All Ontario Championship in Markham, November 4 – 7th. They did not disappoint … Eager to make their mark at their first OFSAA appearance they beat the fourth seeded team Notre Dame from Kingston, 1 – 0. In the second game against Napean from Ottawa, the Wolfpack played an outstanding game but lost 2 -1. Friday morning saw the Wolfpack defeat Newmarket 2 – 0 and qualified for the quarter finals.
Oakville Trafalgar (the eventual Bronze medal winners) lived up to and played as the third seeded squad and defeated our Wolfpack 5 – 0. The OFSAA experience was extremely rewarding as many scouts from various universities were eager to talk to our senior ladies. This years team ROPSSAA gold medal Champions have a lot to be proud of!

VARSITY GIRLS FIELD HOCKEY
Congratulations to our Varsity Girls Field Hockey Team in capturing the Gold Medal in the ROPSSAA final on Thursday, October 27, 2011.
After a meaningful pep talk led by Jenn Doyle & Hayley Christian the team took to the field and displayed why they are undefeated this season. Scoring 2 great goals for Hall were Emily Babcock and Montana Merante. Great ball control by Cassie Briscoe, Kristina Priebe and Montana Merante led our team to a 2-1 victory.
The ladies will represent the Region of Peel at OFSAA next week.
