GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Last night, Thursday February 9, in Brampton, the Varsity Girl’s Volleyball Team ended their regular season with a convincing win over the Heart Lake Hurricanes, 2 set to zero, with scores of 25 – 18 and 25 – 21 and now wait the results of other matches to determine if they are in post season play.
Regardless of those results the Lady Wolfpack had an amazing season, playing some of the toughest division in Peel and all of the GTA. The coaches are extremely proud of the players as they supported each throughout the season especially the leadership shown by our senior players.
SENIOR GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Last night, Monday February 6, the Senior Girls Volleyball team travelled to Bolton to play the Humberview Huskies in what was a classic grueling three set match that lasted over 80 minutes in which some rallies lasted more than 5 minutes of intense attacking volleyball. However the end results did not favor our Lady Wolfpack, losing two sets to one with scores of 25-22, 27-29 and 11-15. The Lady Wolfpack play their last league game of the season this Thursday as they travel to Heart Lake with the playoffs on the line.

On Friday night, February 3, the Senior Girl’s Volleyball team resumed their season, showing the rust of having two week layoff, the Lady Wolfpack fought hard to defeat Sandalwood .. 2 sets to zero. The lady Wolfpack’s next game is tonight at Humberview.
SENIOR GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Last week in Senior Girl’s Volleyball action…the ladies had an action packed week…Losing a close one to d’Youville on Tuesday January 10, then on Thursday January 13, the ladies travelled into Brampton and easily handled Braithewaite, then on Friday January 13, they travelled again to Brampton to d’Youville for a grueling tournament. The under-manned lady Wolfpack team fought valiantly coming 2nd in their pool, and losing in the playoffs to end up tied for fourth place. The next action for the lady Wolfpack will be the first Friday of the second semester.
SENIOR GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Last night, Thursday December 8, the Lady Wolfpack handedly defeated St. Mike’s Thunder two sets to zero. An outstanding defensive play by Mimi Dell’Unto as she dived across the floor completely stretched out to keep the ball in play as the Lady Wolfpack won the point. The next league game will be against cross town rival Humberview.
SENIOR GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
On Tuesday December 6, in Senior Girl’s Volleyball action, our Lady Wolfpack played our division rivals Mayfield Mavericks, the perennial number 1 ranked team in the region, in our gym. In front of a crowd consisting of mostly our feeder schools and parents they were treated to some OUTSTANDING and INTENSE Volleyball action from both teams.
The score rebounded back and forth … however the guest s prevailed in two sets, 29-27, and 25-20. The Lady Wolfpack fought hard the END and are HUNGRY to even their season record on Thursday at home against St. Mike’s. We hope to see the school out to support the team on Thursday.
