Cooperative Learning

Cooperative learning is designed to help students see the relevance of education and training in a workplace setting.  It helps students gain valuable employability skills, training and hands on experience.  Students also participate in job searches and on the job training programs. Working partnerships with the community, business and industry ensure meaningful placements that advance post secondary study and chosen career paths.  Cooperative education can aid students in planning their future credits and provide focus and direction for student entering back into a regular school setting.

Archbishop Romero offers one, two, three or four credit packages offered in a flexible student directed format.  This program also provides students with the opportunity to integrate academic study with practical work experience by obtaining secondary school credits through supervised work placements with host employers.
