Earn Dual Credits in Trades and Technology

 

Trades and Technology Opportunities and Pathways (TTOP) is a School-College-Work initiative funded by the Government of Ontario in collaboration with Sheridan College and the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board.

 

There are 3 Programmes available:

Career Opportunities in Trades and Technology (COTT)

 

Students spend one day per week for one full semester in a variety of trades (e.g. framing, drywall, tiling, painting, taping, wiring).

 

 

 

ü       Earn 1 high school credit

ü       Earn credits toward Sheridan College diploma programme in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering Technology

 

Pre-Trade Pathways (PTP) Electrical

 

Students spend 2 days per week for one full semester gaining practical, hands-on shop experience in the electrical trades.

 

 

 

ü       Earn 2 high school credits

ü      Earn credits toward Sheridan’s Electrician- Pre-Trades Programme

Pre-Trade Pathway

Precision  Machining & Tooling

 

Students spend 2 days per week for one full semester gaining practical, hands-on shop experience in the precision machining & tooling trades.

 

 

 

ü       Earn 2 high school credits

ü       Earn credits toward Sheridan’s Mechanical Techniques-Tool & Die Maker- Pre-Trades Programme
