Principal's Message

       Dear Parents/Guardians and Students

For the 2008/2009 school year all students from grades two through eight will be using student agendas.  The purpose of the student agenda is for parents to review the agenda daily, with their child/ren, to be informed about:

·         Important dates and activities

·         Information between staff, administration and parent/guardian

·         homework, projects, tests and assignments due

·         Behavioural expectations and concerns

·         Board Policies, Ontario Code of Conduct and Behaviour Expectations

·         Schedule of Events

·         Daily school and practices and routines

The agenda brings with it expectations that you, the students, will use to develop a variety of skills:  time management, work organization and the setting of priorities.  For parents and school staff, the agenda will provide another means of communication about your child/ren's academic program as well as sharing concerns about behaviour and work habits.  The agenda will also help to convey to the students the value of punctuality and regular attendance at school, as well as time management and planning.

Students are expected to bring their Student Agendas to school and home daily.  It is highly recommended that parents review and sign their child/ren's agenda on a daily basis.

We thanks the Catholic School Council for providing the agenda to each child in grades two to eight.

Sincerely,
