NEW Elementary FSL
Engaging an FSL student is a challenge at the best of times; engaging a CLASS of FSL students is often an all-out battle! Happily, cooperative learning strategies ENGAGE students precisely because they place the responsibility of learning, creating and applying knowledge squarely on the shoulders of students. Additionally, cooperative learning strategies provide teachers with effective ways to address and respond to students’ diverse needs. This session will not only provide you with a working knowledge of simple and effective cooperative learning strategies and their application in the FSL classroom, it will also INSPIRE you to create your own, classroom specific cooperative activities.
