New Administrators
NEW Dufferin-Peel Employees ONLY
The Employee Relations Department will provide all new administrators, (vice-principals) at the elementary and secondary level, opportunities to receive first-hand information on a variety of topics specific to their new roles. Participants will choose sessions presented in a carousel format on the following topics over a to day period (August 13 and 20):
1) Contracts
2) Freedom of Information
3) NTIP/TPA
4) G.A.P./by-laws/Policies/Procedures
5) On Review Process (non-teaching)
6) G.A.P. 305 Harassment
Current administrators are welcome to register for these sessions also.
NADO4 New Administrators Inservice Session – Health and Safety Issues

This session is intended for new administrators within the board as it pertains to their Health and Safety responsibilities in their schools. This session will serve as an orientation for all newly appointed administrations. This half day session will cover the following topics:
1) Due Diligence – ESAO facilitated and includes workbook
2) Overview of DPCDSB H&S Program and Manual
3) Incident/Accident Reporting and Investigation
4) Workplace Inspections with a focus on the JHSC’s
