Dear Parents of the St. Edith Stein School Community,
It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself to you as Principal of St. Edith Stein School, effective Tuesday, September 6, 2011.
I look forward to having the opportunity to meet with all of you. Getting to know the culture of St. Edith Stein School will take time, but it will be made possible through communication with all members of the community that we serve; staff, students, parents and parish alike. The staff has familiarized me with many of the great initiatives taking place at the school, and I am very impressed with everything that I have witnessed. I also had the opportunity to meet with a few parents and chat about School Council, fundraising and curriculum, and I look forward to meeting more of you at our upcoming School Advisory Council meetings.
I come to St. Edith Stein School, having left my current role of Vice Principal at St. Francis of Assisi School, having a previous Vice Principal assignment at All Saints Catholic School as well. I am very pleased and honoured to have the opportunity to serve the St. Edith Stein School community.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Ms. Slak for all of her hard work and effort over the last six years. Ms. Slak has made me feel very welcome and has helped tremendously with my transition. I wish her and Mr. MacDonald continued success in their future assignments.
Throughout the initial weeks of the next school year, please take the time to introduce yourselves to me. I hope that you will find that my door is always open to address concerns or just to share in the common goal of providing the best quality of education for your child(ren) entrusted in my care.
Welcome back and I wish everyone an enjoyable and productive school year ahead.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Christine Boulanger
Principal
