Grade 5 Extended French Applicants for 2012-2013 School Year
We have received over 54 applications. This means a lottery will take place here at the school on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Therese of the Child Jesus School, 6930 Forest Park Drive .
Your presence at the lottery is not necessary. You may wish to attend, but we do not recommend that children attend due to the sensitive nature of the process.
The lottery information will be available at the school on Friday, February 17. You will also receive a letter following the lottery. As new information becomes available, it will be posted here on our school website.

Registration for Junior Kindergarten for the 2012-13 school year will take place at all Dufferin-Peel Catholic Elementary Schools, including here at St. Therese of the Child Jesus, on the following days:
Monday, February 6, 2012* 7:00-9:00 p.m.
(*Snow Date: Tuesday, February 7, 2012 7:00-9:00 p.m.)

Flag Football Champions!
Congratulations to the Intermediate Boys & Girls Intermediate Flag Football Team who brought home the Championship for 2011.
Thank you to Mr. Bortolotto for your hard work and dedication in coaching the team to success. Also, a big thanks to Mrs. Mangione, Mrs. Fallavolita and Mr. Migone who helped supervise on the day of the tournament.
We would also like to show our appreciation for the staff at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, who organized this classy tournament, providing us with an exciting day of flag football at an amazing school.

Unveiling Our Diversity Quilt!
Celebrating Our Diversity
Anna DaCosta‘s Grade Six Art students and parent volunteers worked all year on a Diversity Quilt, pieced together from student-created panels. The images on the panel reflect the diverse backgrounds of the St. Therese community.
Each image depicts a student‘s unique cultural heritage. The quilt was formally presented to students at the April Virtues assembly held in the gym. The school community is grateful for the dedication of Mrs. DaCosta, the Grade Six students, and the following committed parent volunteers: Joelma Brasil, Elizabeth Lo, Kim Mc Elhone, Adriana Robinson, and Dilkie Wijesinghe.
When entering the school through the main doors, look up and behind you to see this beautiful piece of work. It is truly breathtaking and represents the diversity, hard work, talent, and dedication that we are so proud of here at St. Therese of the Child Jesus School.
