As this new school year begins, I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation for the kindness and support extended to me as I transition into my new role as principal of St. Therese of the Child Jesus School. I also offer a warm welcome to the families who are new to our school community and all those returning to St. Therese School. A special greeting is extended to our Junior Kindergarten children who are starting school for the first time and to our new extended French students who have recently joined our school community.

I am very proud of the students of St. Therese in their positive attitude, behaviour, and achievement. The students respond respectfully and eagerly to each faith, community and school initiative; this can only be attributed to the values modeled by their parents. The warm, compassionate acceptance of all members of our community regardless of diversity reflects our distinct Catholic faith development.

Our school community is strengthened through our partnerships, none being more important than the working relationships we enjoy with our Parish Team, our active and dedicated School Council and our Trustee Esther O'Toole. The staff of St. Therese is happily committed to working with you as partners to continue to support each child in their quest for knowledge, happiness and spiritual development.
