2022-2023 Get Ready Program for Grade 9 Students
The Get Ready Program for Secondary School is a summer program designed to welcome our Grade 9 students, and support them as they transition from Grade 8 to 9. This program is unique to the Dufferin-Peel CDSB and blends literacy and numeracy focused instruction with secondary school readiness activities to help welcome and prepare students for their secondary school experience. Get Ready! allows students entering Grade 9 to get to know their secondary school and their teachers and peers, before beginning classes in September.

Student Lockers- Coming for Quad 2 (Nov. 15th)!
Starting Nov. 15th for Quadmester 2, students at St. Thomas Aquinas will be allowed the use of a student locker. Lockers remain the property of St. Thomas Aquinas and students are responsible for keeping their locker neat and tidy.
Students have been assigned INDIVIDUAL lockers that will appear at the top of their schedule/timetable. Quad 2 timetables will be sent out to student email accounts prior to the start of Quad 2. Students will not be allowed to switch or share lockers.
Locks are available for purchase via School Cash Online (https://schoolcashonline.com/) for $10.00 starting Tuesday Nov. 2nd. Students should take a screen shot or print out their receipt for the purchase and bring the receipt to the School Library to pick up their lock from Nov. 3 to Nov. 11th during the last 15 minutes of the student lunch periods.
If students choose to use their own lock, they will have to provide the combination to their homeroom teacher. Locks not issued by the school may need to be cut off if the school needs access to the locker.
