Grade Level Retreats are opportunities for students to grow in faith, discover their vocation, and form healthy relationships with others.
Grade 9: Created by God who has Endowed me with Talents to Build a Community of Faith
By grade 9 homeroom classes, students will attend a retreat at Our Lady of the Airways, Mississauga, Ontario with their homeroom teacher and Ms. Albano. Students will have the opportunity to form bonds of friendship as well as discovering their talents to use in their community.
Grade 10: Healthy Adolescent Relationships – Theology of the Body
Each Grade 10 religion class will attend a retreat at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Adult Learning Centre, Mississauga, Ontario. Working with the ReGeneration – Archdiocese of Toronto Youth Missionaries, students will discuss ways to develop healthy relationships with others. Students will learn what it means to treat each other as human beings made in the image and likeness of God. Students will go with the Grade 10 Religion Teachers and Ms. Albano.
Grade 11: Laudatio Si – The God of Creation & We the Stewards of Creation
Grade 11 religion classes will attend a retreat at Queen of the Apostles, Mississauga, Ontario. Students will learn about other religions by focusing on our role as stewards of creation. Students will attend this retreat with their grade 11 Religion Teacher & Chaplaincy Leader
Grade 12: HRE4M & HZT4U - The Next Step…Being Leaders in Service to our World
Grade 12 religion and philosophy classes will attend a retreat at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Adult Learning Centre, Mississauga, Ontario. Students will have an opportunity to reflect on their high school experience as they prepare to leave high school. During this retreat, students will also discuss ways they will use their education as leaders of tomorrow. Students will attend this retreat with their grade 12 religion or philosophy teacher and Ms. Albano
