On Thursday May 4th, St. John XXIII celebrated “Le Café Francais” Day. Students, staff, parents and friends were invited to visit the café and enjoyed delicious croissants and drinks served to them by our grades 6, 7 and 8 students. We also enjoyed the entertainment from our grade 4, 5 and 6 students as they performed their plays “Les 3 petits cochons” and “Louis la grenouille”. In keeping with the spirit of Catholic Education Week, we also ‘walked forward together’, as all profits from the day, were used for our outreach project. This year the students decided to purchase birth certificates for children in developing countries. “Le Café Francais” Day is a fun-filled day for all and Madame Marangoni is so grateful for everyone’s support!
