On Friday, September 23rd, 2016 the students and staff of St. John XXIII school participated in our annual Terry Fox walk. Prior to our walk, all classes gathered in the gymnasium and watched some inspirational clips of Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope. After our assembly, students and staff were led on our walk around the neighborhood by the Gr. 7/8 class. Each class held banners with messages of hope in fighting cancer while they walked. A huge thank you to the St. John XXIII community for your support as we raised $295.00 for cancer research. We look forward to participating in our Terry Fox walk next year.
