Track and Field

As per usual, our St. John XXIII School Track and Field team competed in the annual Mississauga South Track Meet at St. Marcellinus High School.  The weather was fantastic and the students had fun competing in their events.
As a result of their success, three of our Jayhawks advanced to compete in the Board Championship Track Meet.

Kate finished in 1st place in shot put.
Jacob flew towards a second place finish in the long jump.
And Jasmin finished a strong 2nd in the shot put.

At the Boards, our 3 competitors did well, placing in strong positions.  However, special congratulations goes out to Jasmin who earned a Bronze Medal!  Fabulous work!!
