Many of you have reached out to ask for an opportunity to connect, talk and be heard about the profound impact of Anti-Black Racism on your lives. In order to grow and support each other as a Catholic school community, we need to come together. We want to hear from you.

Please consider joining a virtual student voice forum on Anti-Black Racism with other students from Cardinal Leger Secondary School. This is an optional event. The virtual forum will be held on: Wednesday June  24, 2020 @ 2pm.
The forum will be hosted by Child and Youth Workers and Social Workers who are passionate, trained and eager to listen and respond to youth who have been impacted by Anti-Black Racism. The forum will not be recorded.  School staff will not be present in an effort to maintain the utmost confidentiality.   Please click to register. To make sure we are able to keep you safe, we will need to collect contact information including a number and email where we can reach you afterwards. This information will only be shared with the facilitators of the forum. It will not be shared with anyone else or for any other purpose. We look forward to connecting and hearing your voices.

People of good conscience must never turn a blind eye when citizens are being deprived of their human dignity and even their lives. Indifference is not an option.
